Anderson Valley — another valley heard from in California Pinot Noir, and one worth listening to — and tasting! Fresh cherry, strawberry and dusty earth aromas become flavors on the palate, where a nice kiss of oak char adds complexity. The finish shows the oak a bit more than I like at present, but promises to integrate seamlessly with a little bottle aging. A Platinum Award winner at the 2015 Critics Challenge International Wine Competition.
