It seems that every time I turn around, I run across another invigorating example of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. This one is from Marlborough, the region on the east coast of South Island where it all started. As summer’s heat and humidity is upon us, this refreshing wine, with its straightforward lime-tinged profile, is just what the doctor ordered. Its pleasing cutting edge awakens the palate. Though a refreshing aperitif, it will also stand up to grilled fish bathed with a caper garlic sauce or spicy take-out sushi.
