Arroyo Vista is almost always my favorite of the J. Lohr line of Chardonnays, and it takes the prize again with the 2021 vintage thanks to lively acidity throughout. It supports the zesty lemon curd and moderate oak toast, and does so in style, keeping the liveliness going through the finish. This makes for a great solo glass or a fine seafood pairing partner – again!
