This vintage of Hilltop shows a bit more oak than the last two, but have no fear — it will fold in nicely with another year in the bottle. Bold Paso Robles blackberry, black cherry and red plum fruit ride supple tannins to a long, spice forward finish. The Hilltop is always a solid value.
