Moscato with cheese and tapas on a summer day is an enduring tradition in northern Italy. That experience can be replicated on our shores, but the right sort of moscato is required. It must be intensely floral, light and easy on the palate, not too sweet and clean and refreshing on the palate. That wine would be the Jacob’s Creek Moscato from Australia. And it was a platinum award-winner at the 2016 Critics Challenge.
