Very rustic and oh so French, this Loire Valley Gamay tastes earthy as well as meaty. It has just enough fruit to remain focused, but probably should be drunk in the near-term. Not a wine for lovers of big, fruity New World reds, it will delight you if you prefer wines that taste literally of the vineyard.
