Jordan’s Cabernet has for years been a flagship of the appellation. This vintage gets a little more new French oak than usual, but that doesn’t pose any problems and might just extend the life of the wine a touch. The blackberry and currant fruit is enhanced by the oak spice and a touch of mint that brightens everything without grabbing attention. A long finish rounds things out, and some bottle age will turn this into another cellar trophy. Bravo!
