The Sauvignon Blanc grapes came from several different vineyards located in a broad area stretching from the Ventura area to Monterey, California, with different soil types and growing conditions to provide layers of flavors. The newly harvested grape clusters were pressed and fermented at cool temperatures in stainless steel tanks avoiding malolactic fermentation. The wine has a pale-yellow color with aromas and flavors of fresh citrus and white peach with subtle dusty mineral notes. It is fresh and lively with crisp acidity, prefect as a warm weather beverage at a picnic.
