On the back label there’s a quote from Jack London in which he describes riding through his beautiful ranch in Glen Ellen, and concludes with the line, “I have everything to make me glad I am alive.” Hearty yet elegant, with notes of ripe red fruits, coffee and whiff of eucalyptus, this is a wine that makes me glad I am alive.
