Kenwood Vineyards, Russian River Valley (Sonoma County, California) Chardonnay 2020

 This is quite dramatic Chardonnay in relation to its asking price of $17, with lots of fruit flavor and a bold lashing of oak.  These two components work well in relation to one another, with enough acidity to keep the dramatics in check to some degree, so this is successful by any reasonable measure, and extremely successful in terms of value.
