Pinot Noir growers Ketcham Estate source this Cabernet from the Saini Ranch, and they have made a fine, approachable expression here. It is quite elegant, with silky tannins carrying the lively fruit across the midpalate and into a finish where the well selected oak spice tightens things up and extends the finish. This will continue to soften and gain complexity over the next five years or so. When you want a little softer glass of Cabernet, this is a beautiful choice.
