This variety can be quite green in presentation, and this wine has that quality, but it’s quite attractive here, setting the roasted bell pepper aromas and flavors against black fruit, black pepper and a touch of tar. This is a wine for Kansas City Barbeque, and at a nice price to boot. A Platinum Award winner at the 2019 Monterey International Wine Competition.
