Like all excellent Sauvignon Blancs this one is clean, lean, crisp, and dry. Its alluring flavors include citrus as well as fresh peach and other stone fruits. A welcome zing of acidity on the finish sets the palate for the next sip. While this is a terrific wine to drink year round, it is definitely one to enjoy during the dog days of summer. A terrific partner for all seafood, it makes an exceptionally fine accompaniment for oysters and other shellfish, and proves that wines that are widely available and made in large volume can still offer excellent quality.
