This is an oak aged Albariño with deep complexity, full body and ageability in its corner. Taut interplay between lemon, peach and stone notes gets added lift from racy acidity and some bracing from carefully blended oak tones that lend touches of vanilla and cream. All these make for a mind-bending white that lingers in a way inviting extended contemplation. It’s a throwback in terms of technique for the region, and it is a window into how this variety started to gain traction in the market. Love it!
