La Crema’s forté is expressive Pinot Noir highlighting ripe fruit and freshness. Aged mostly in French oak with a little American oak, this 2010 from vineyards in Monterey’s Santa Lucia and Gabilan mountains, has a bright medium ruby color, fragrant black cherry and spice aroma with subtle toasted oak back notes. The flavors are lush and fruity, with integrated fine tannins, 13.9% alcohol and a touch of bitterness in the finish.
