La Vieille Ferme Rosé is undoubtedly one of the best values in the market. The Perrin Family of Château de Beaucastel in Châteauneuf-du-Pape launched the brand in the United States in 1980. Now, four decades later, it remains a lovely example of southern French Rosé. The 2022 is a blend of Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah – a typical southern French blend. It has a floral freshness at the nose with strawberry, peach and citrus fruits backed by hints of Provençal herbs. On the palate, it shows a lively mix of fruits underlain by elements of herbs and lemon zest. Today, La Vieille Ferme is readily available in multiple sizes as well as boxes. If you want a well-made dry Rosé at a great price, give it a try.
