Here is another good choice when you need a robust red to go with burgers, skirt steak or even lamb cooked on the grill.  A touch of spice in the finish complements the otherwise bright ripe fruit flavors.  Suave tannins add support but not astringency.  In short, it delivers more than the price suggests.
