Aptly named Tradition, this stellar Riesling by Lucien Albrecht is a classic example of Riesling’s fine qualities. Bright tart notes ranging from lime and nectarine to tart underripe pineapple and starfruit command the body of this wine while undertones of minerality, petroleum, and floral notes provide complexity. The wine’s acidity is bright and crisp, further highlighting the tart fruit notes. Riesling is Alsace’s most planted variety and the region’s German influence shows in this traditionally-styled offering.
