The first MacRostie Pinot Noir to carry this macro-AVA bottling, allowing winemaker Heidi Bridenhagen to access some choice fruit from outside the smaller Russian River Valley appellation. 16 separate one ton lots made it into this blend, and the result is a glass of wild cherry, ripe strawberry, dry earth minerality and a dash of cocoa powder that start out fleshy but end with tension and length.
