Marcelo Pelleriti, Valle de Uco (Mendoza, Argentina) Malbec 2021

 In the six or so wines I have recently tasted from Pelleriti, I have been struck by the consistency and almost-standard quality across the line, as well as the very affordable prices that beg buying by the case rather than by the bottle.  This Malbec has ripe, textured blackberry fruit that is both smooth and complex (the two don’t always go hand-in-hand) with good tannins around the edges.
