This is what Barolo from La Morra tastes like in 2015 when a producer goes with the tendency of the growing season, but doesn’t go too far. The aromas are a bit reticent, but the flavors are anything but shy, flaunting dark fruit notes and accents recalling roasted game. Muscular but neither woody nor astringent, this tightrope walks the line between wildness and composure without tipping in either direction.
