Markham Vineyards has been producing wines since 1879, which is an eternity by California standards. In 2019 Markham was purchased by the international Lion’s wine business, whose Distinguished Vineyards & Wine Partners portfolio also includes Sonoma’s MacRostie, Argyle Winery in Oregon, and New Zealand’s Wither Hills. With lots of citrus notes, notably tangerine and grapefruit, this tasty white wine refreshes on its own and also partners well with food.
