Here’s a big, reductive wine that needs a long time to air out, but it’s certainly worth the wait. Classic blackberry, currant, brown spice, dried herbs and a leathery note are all here, with solid acidity, supple tannins and a long, lip-smacking finish completing the package in a very food friendly style. A Double Gold Award winner at the 2016 Toast of the Coast Wine Competition.
