Michele Taliano, Roero Riserva (Piedmont, Italy) 2008

Jul 3, 2012

By Michael Franz

This shows very complex aromas that actually merit the overused term “bouquet.”  Subtle floral, fruity and savory aromatic notes lead to open, sweet fruit flavors recalling both red and black cherries.  The tannins are very fine in grain, and the overall impression is one of outstanding complexity and class.
