Migration, Santa Maria Valley (Santa Barbara County, California) Pinot Noir 2018

Dec 7, 2021

By Rich Cook

Black cherry and sweet oak aromas kick things off, and a viscous midpalate carries through in like fashion.  At this point, you may be thinking that you’ve got a cocktail style wine on your hands, but the finish changes your mind with a smack of acidity cleansing the palate and leaving a cherry and oak spice impression.  I would go with pork tenderloin as a pairing here.
