A famously strong performer, the 2010 Pinot from Mt. Difficulty is a little slow out of the starting blocks but still a good bet to finish strong. The aromas are impressively complex and there’s lovely initial sweetness on the palate, though the finish is still a bit hard and short. Nevertheless, the balance and proportions are just right, and there’s little doubt that this wine will earn a score up into the 90s after it is given a couple years to hit its stride.
