I’m often asked where the best values in the wine world come from, and there are many answers, but it’s pretty hard to beat Navarro when it comes to quality for your dollar. This recent release is pure Anderson Valley in style, with cherry, fall spice, vanilla and some damp earth notes. The 2015 vintage gave about half the normal crop for this bottling, but I have yet to see Navarro adjust their pricing just to make up for the challenge that a vintage might present. That leaves you with a great bottle at a way more than fair price. The challenge for you is how long to wait before pulling the trigger.
