Cerasuolo di Vittoria is Sicily’s only DOCG and produces high quality wines known for their bright red cherry notes. Nicosia sources their Sabbie di Sutta fruit from estate 100 meter-elevation vineyards on Mount Etna’s southeast slope. The wine shows classical red cherry and cranberry notes with a touch of minerality and eucalyptus on the palate. Maria Carella, Nicosia’s winemaker, supports the winery’s certified sustainable vision and helps the team find solutions that continue to enable high-quality DOCG wine.
