Nicosia is a five-generation winery located on Mount Etna’s south-eastern slope. Lenza di Munti represent their highest elevation plantings where temperatures are the coolest despite being located in the middle of the Mediterranean. Cooler temperatures allow the grapes to ripen slowly and develop subtler, more sophisticated flavors while retaining their natural acidity. The wine is deliciously juicy with red cherry, sweet cranberry, subtle minerality and earthy undertones. In addition to making excellent wine, Nicosia is certified sustainable and is doing their part to keep the vineyards producing quality wines for another five generations.
