I could count the number of Sauvignon Blanc wines that I’ve really admired grown in relatively hot climates on one hand — until this wine made me resort to my other hand. The palate feel is rather soft and round, as I’d expect from Lodi, yet there’s a bright beam of underlying acidity that enlivens the white melon fruit flavors with a zing of citrus that really keeps this in balance and invites sip after sip. A Double Gold Award winner at the 2020 Toast of the Coast International Wine Competition.
