This was one of several complete and convincing renditions of Syrah tasted in Israel, and like the best of the others, it succeeded on the strength of ripe, rich fruit that showed enough structure and restraint to allow other meaty, savory nuances to present themselves as well. Full of primary fruit but neither chunky nor obvious, this was admirably nuanced and satisfying.
