Pahlmeyer’s 2014 Bordeaux-style blend is a massive red that delivers layers of ripe cassis, red currant and blackberry. For all of its power and impressive depth, however, there is an elegant side to this beast of a wine. Absolutely delicious tonight, but all the better if you can wait three to six years. So lay it down or drink it now, you can’t lose either way.
