Pahlmeyer’s Sonoma Coast Pinot from the 2012 vintage will strike you immediately with the prominence of sweet oak and spice. That is far from the end of the tale however, for there is abundant red-fruit character layered through the mid-palate, with extremely fine tannins and a dazzling finish that demonstrates intensity and finesse.
