Beautifully balanced ripeness is the key to this wine’s success, as it shows dark color and impressive density, but also a fine purity that is often absent from Barolo wines in 2009. The texture I meaty and broad, with fruit notes showing both red and black tones, and very tasteful framing from notable but balanced wood. Very tastefully styled.
