A super-Tuscan styled wine with a twist from Duckhorn’s offbeat blends label succeeds with wild raspberry and ripe strawberry fruit complemented by pepper and dried herb aromas and flavors that’s a real pleasure to drink. With Zinfandel and Sangiovese traditionally performing well on Atlas Peak, I’m surprised we haven’t seen more of this sort of blend. Toss it into a blind tasting of blends and see who can pick out the components. Contains 51% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Zinfandel and 18% Sangiovese.
