This offers a very good blend of barrel and preserved fruit aromas and flavors. What it’s lost in freshness is gained by pure fruit intensity – figs, prunes, dried cherries with hints of red Vermouth and a few savory herbs. Surprisingly, it is still tightly wound. With 16.5% alcohol, it finishes with lip-smacking tannins.
