Pelio Vineyards is a new producer to me, and you can bet I will be looking more closely at them after tasting this wine. They have vineyards located near Talbott’s Diamond T Vineyard, and that same kind of excellent quality shows here. Of course that takes a winemaking philosophy that allows site to shine, and that’s also on full display as well. Taut, bright, easy on the oak – this is my kind of Chardonnay.
