Penner-Ash is well known for the quality and variety of its Pinot Noirs, with special bottling at the higher price levels – which says a lot about this wine as the “standard” offering. It has floral aromas that make you want to linger a while, but not too long, as the wine has a firm structure yet with generous fruit – lots of ripe blackberry with a hint of vanilla in the finish.
