I have tasted this wine a few times over the past several months and thought it needed a little time in the bottle to come around, and I’m happy to report that the few extra months were just the ticket. The wood tones have integrated nicely into the rich apple fruit, and fresh acidity keeps things lively through the finish. Right on time. A Platinum Award winner at the 2022 San Diego International Wine & Spirits Challenge.
