Primarily Sangiovese with small amounts of Cabernet and Merlot in the blend, this is a “Super Tuscan” for budget-conscious drinkers. It does not have the depth or rich mouthfeel of its costlier cousins, but it does taste recognizably Tuscan, with dusty, earthy notes intertwined with both fresh and dried cherry fruit flavors.
