This robust mountain Cab from Pina is very tight at this stage, but has every right to improve with a bit more bottle age. As it is it’s a stunning example of this winery’s deft hand with Cabernet. It shows black fruits, hints of mocha and a touch of balsamic. The tannins are nicely integrated though firm, and the finish promises to blossom over time. All in all an outstanding effort from this top Cabernet producer.
