Pisano is a family-operated, artisan winery focused on making traditional Uruguayan wines. Named after the family’s great grandfather, Don Francesco Pisano, the family manages the entire operation from vineyard to bottle. In Uruguay, Tannat is king with 27% of total plantings dedicated to producing the grape variety across the country. Pisano’s Reserve Tannat sees only six months in barrel providing a balanced expression of smoke and tobacco leaf notes with blackberry, violets, and acai berry. This is ready to drink and versatile red that will pair nicely with anything from steak to a lighter pasta.
