A beautiful wine with a structure like a horizontal funnel – flavorful and expansive ripe and dried cherries at the start of the taste narrowed down to an intense, leathery, savory, tannic finish followed by one of the most-lingering and most-pronounced aftertastes than I have experienced in a while. It’s the kind of wine that stops you after the first sip, and you say, “Wait a minute, let me try that again.”
