Another impressive red from Stephen Reustle’s crew. The black and blue fruit you expect from Syrah get a good dose of oak spice here, and I’d look for it to fold in nicely with some bottle aging. It’s in a brooding state now, but it will come out the better for it soon. A Platinum Award winner at the 2020 Monterey International Wine Competition.
