Rivers-Marie’s 2018 Chardonnay is fun and refined at the same time. Scents of golden apple and pineapple come through, fading into classic notes of toasted nuts and vanilla. In the mouth, this Chardonnay is buttery and full-bodied without being overdone. The alcohol is high at 14.5%, but it is well matched by the wine’s body and richness, even if it is slightly hot. Pair this wine with richer fare, like pork tenderloin over potatoes.
