I’m thrilled with what’s happening at Robert Mondavi right now. This Pinot Noir is beautifully made, and priced as a bang for your buck offering. Strawberry pie and cherry are joined by notes of brush, dry earth and cinnamon in both aroma and flavor profiles, with bright acidity, a silky feel, and sweet oak coming forward in the finish. The oak is still integrating, so give this a little time in the bottle.
