Root: 1, Casablanca Valley (Chile) Pinot Noir 2010

May 11, 2011

By Marguerite Thomas

This is a very likable, friendly, undemanding, ruby-hued wine.  It has a light-to-medium body, and fruit flavors that are pronounced but mercifully not overly sweet.  It’s not a wine you’ll talk about for hours on end. This Pinot is designed more to provide soothing pleasure akin to, say, soft background music.
