As an unabashed nut for cool climate Syrah, I am always surprised that their isn’t more of it out on the market. Enter this bottling under the Rosenblum label sourced from what was once the largest contiguous vineyard in the US, located just south of King City along Highway 101. It is quite full flavored and optimally ripe for the style choice, allowing notes of tar and orange zest to speak clearly. No doubt it will find more fans along its market journey. It’s a delicious solo glass, and awaits a side of beef to complete the meal.
