With lots of ripe boysenberry and cassis elements, plus spice and a dash of that mouth-watering herbal element often found in good Chilean Cabernet, this is yet another stunningly good bargain from Santa Rita ($13 gets you a lot of quality here!). Another thing in this Cab’s favor is that although the fruit is forward and ripe, the wine is not overly sweet.
