A classic example of what dry farmed Zinfandel can be. This wine comes from estate vineyard blocks planted as long ago as 1880 and as "recently" as 1981, and it shows its old vine nature with lively red fruit, pepper, stone minerality, racy acidity and a structured backbone. An extremely dry vintage limited production, so if you are a lover of well aged Zinfandel like I am, you’ll want to grab some up in a hurry. Bravo!
